Hi, everyone!
I hope you all went out to vote on November 4, if not earlier! I don’t need to tell you how important it is to vote, so I’ll just move on to why we’re all really here: the announcement of this week’s theme for our jam session!
Well, you know me: I can’t let an event like an election go by without acknowledging it on Jammin’ with Jamie, so this week, we’ll be jammin’ to some…
… “Congressional Carols”!
In this week’s jam session, we’ll be jammin’ to songs that can somehow be related to politics, including some patriotic tunes! But don’t worry: we won’t actually be getting political! I know we all need a political breather after all the ads we’ve been bombarded with!
So rest assured, whether you’re really into politics, just really love to laugh at them, or anywhere in between, our jam session this week will be the place to be!
So far, the tunes we’ll be jammin’ to this week come courtesy of artists such as Glynis Johns, Idina Menzel, Kermit the Frog, and Groucho Marx. Certain selections also come from films such as Mary Poppins (1964), The Muppets (2011), Horse Feathers (1932) and the Land Before Time films!
I hope you consider jammin’ with us this week! If you’d like more information about the show and how you can tune in and jam with us, you can find everything you need right here!
Thank you for reading, listening, and jammin’,
Jamie Lee
