Hi, everyone!
Around this time of year, many people find themselves faced with a decision: whether or not to attend a dance or other event involving dancing. Whether this event is prom, another end-of-school dance, a music festival, an outdoor concert, or any number of other events, the start of summer means everyone wants to shake their tail feathers!
Just the idea of dancing makes some people nervous. But don’t worry: we at Jammin’ with Jamie have you covered with this two-part theme!
The next time a flash mob breaks out, don’t sweat it on the sidelines: sweat it out in the spotlight in the middle of the dance floor with the smooth moves you learned by jammin’ with us to…
… “Toe-Tapping Tunes (Part 1)”!
This week, our jam session will be dedicated to dancing! We’ll be busting a move to songs about dancing, songs that have a famous dance associated with them, and even songs that teach you how to do a dance!
The tunes we’ll be jammin’ to this week come courtesy of artists such as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, Men Without Hats, Michael Jackson, and more! Certain selections come from films such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Footloose (1984), and Mamma Mia! (2008), and stage musicals such as Mary Poppins!
I hope you consider jammin’ with us this week! If you’d like more information about the show, look no further than right here!
Thank you for reading, listening, and “jammin’,”
Jamie Lee
